TOP TEN "DON'TS"

The Top 10 things you should NOT do during the recruiting process:

• 10. Make sure you bang your stick on the ground whenever you miss a shot or pass.
• 9. Don't bother learning anything about the schools you are interested in.
• 8. Send College Coaches videotape in which they have no idea who you are.
• 7. Make sure you tell them you are interested in their program even if you aren’t, you don’t want to hurt their feelings.
• 6. Mass email College Coaches your information, they love to see the other schools you are interested in and it makes them feel special when you take the time to send them a mass e-mail.
• 5. Don’t bother contacting coaches to let them know where they can see you play, they have assistants that do all that stuff for them.
• 4. Argue with the officials, yell at your teammates, and be disrespectful to your coaches and parents. After all the college coaches aren’t watching for these sorts of things.
• 3. Trash one College Coach when talking to another Coach. None of them are friends anyway.
• 2. Don't sign up for The ROSTER
• 1. Stretch the truth a little bit when asked about your grades, stats, etc. After all, who really looks at that stuff anyway?!!
